THE VINEYARD AND WINE
An outstanding small vineyard producing a highly allocated wine is the heart and core of the estate. Consisting of 2.75 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon vines and 0.28 acres producing Cabernet Franc grapes, the ultrapremium vineyard recalls those of French wine country and was conceived and permitted for small top-tier estate-bottled productions. The well-drained, rocky, volcanic soils and coveted terroir provide the key ingredients for the estate’s world-class wine
Named after the massive granite sculpture that dominates the estate, the 400-500 cases of Seven Stones produced each vintage in the estate's boutique winery, is the end result of the meticulous efforts of its talented vineyard and winemaking team - Aaron Pott, winemaker and Pina Vineyard Management. The three acres of vineyard produce a Cabernet Sauvignon wine of striking complexity, deep concentration and substantial structure, garnering consistent praise from the wine press and ratings as high as 99+ over the years. The wine, priced at $210/bottle, is sold primarily direct-to-consumer, creating an attractive income stream from the wine business.
